Monticello Avenue ORG is a community information network located in Charlottesville, Virginia. It is jointly supported by the City of Charlottesville, the County of Albemarle, and the Jefferson-Madison Regional Library. The server is housed in the Central branch of the Jefferson-Madison Regional Library.
We are so very fortunate in Charlottesville to have organizations such as this. Monticello Avenue Org “was created in 1995 as a grassroots effort to help the community find ways to access the Internet. Since then, the community network has grown in size and in services offered. Over 100 local organizations use Monticello Avenue’s hosting services to establish and maintain a web site, for free.”
